Collectively known as 'The Big Five' the singers are Joe Aitken from Kirriemuir in Angus, Gordon Easton from Tyrie near Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire, Jock Duncan originally from New Deer but now retired to Pitlochry in Perthshire, Tam Reid from Cullerlie, near Echt in Aberdeenshire and finally Eric Simpson, once of Rosehearty but now retired to Mosstodloch in Moray.
