JACK SINCLAIR – LIVE AT HIS MAJESTY’S

Sixty years after his first engagement in April 1941, one of the north east’s most celebrated musicians decided to pack away his accordion for the last time.  During his long and illustrious career, Jack Sinclair fulfilled a total of 287 ‘Royal’ functions at Balmoral and Birkhall for four generations of the royal family and household.  This CD features the best of two live recordings made at His Majesty’s on Thursday 14th March 1974 and Tuesday 25th March 1975.  Jack remembers them as amongst the best nights in his life.  People came from all over Scotland to see the shows which could have been sold out ten times over.  Thirty tracks.

JIM CAMERON SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCE– THE EARLY YEARS
Over 74 minutes of music from the late Jim Cameron of Kirrie, a famous Scottish Country Dance Band leader and contemporary of Jimmy Shand from the 1950s.  These recordings were made in London in December 1949 and in Glasgow in May 1953.  They have been transferred from 78rpm recordings to computer and digitally restored to give wonderful clarity.  Note it's not recommended that you buy this album and also the previous 'Volume One' and 'Volume Two' albums due to similarities in the tracks.
